My Beatmaking Journey: A Tale of Passion and Discovery
Embarking on a Musical Adventure in My Mid-30s
Hey there, I’m diving into my rap career this year, and what a ride it’s been! I’m in my mid-30s, and some might call it a mid-life crisis, but I see it as a thrilling new chapter. I’ve been balancing beatmaking with rapping – admittedly, I’m still finding my footing, but boy, am I having fun!
The Self-Taught Beatmaker’s Path
Over these past few years, I’ve embarked on a self-taught journey into the world of beatmaking. Navigating through the nuances of Ableton 11 with my Launchkey 25, I’ve discovered a passion that’s both challenging and immensely rewarding. I dabbled with Maschine gear once, but it wasn’t my cup of tea – it never really clicked with what I wanted to achieve musically.
BUY HIP HOP BEATS FOR SALE
I have been making beats in the hope that one day I can sell them to make some money.
In the meantime I will post the beats that I have made and people can enquire about them.
I hope to be able to have some rappers use some of the beats for free. These beats I made 100% custom by myself, using cleared samples. I find they are great to freestyle rap on.
Making Music in the Most Unlikely Places
I make a lot of my beats when I get an email from Unison Audio about their free Daily Sample drop. It gives me a lot of inspiration, more than anything.
Life’s thrown some curveballs my way, leading me to live in motel rooms for a while, and now, I’m planning to record in my car. These unique recording spots have shaped my approach to music, proving that creativity can blossom anywhere.
My Early Musical Ventures
I’ve already dipped my toes into the world of music releases. Check out ‘Broke Farang’ and ‘Silly Simp‘ – I crafted the beats and even rapped a bit. Collaborating with The Game was a leap of faith that paid off, helping me gain some traction on platforms like Spotify. I’ve got a few more collaborations lined up, and I can’t wait to share them with the world.
The Quest to Create Impactful Beats
Recently, I made a beat that I’m quite proud of. It’s moments like these when I wonder, are my beats good enough to sell? Will they inspire other artists to collaborate with me? Maybe one day, I could even turn beatmaking into a full-time gig – a dream job, indeed.
An Open Call for Collaborative Magic
I’m keen to release an album soon and would love for fellow artists to jump on a track with me. My approach to rapping is a bit like Mase’s in ‘Harlem World’ – I often find myself more motivated to write one verse per song, leaving room for others to shine.
A Journey of Growth and Exploration
My story is more than just about making music; it’s about the journey of growth, passion, and discovery. I invite you to join me on this adventure and see where this path leads. Check out my music and feel free to reach out if you’re interested in collaborating. Let’s create something unforgettable together.
